Employees will leave your company at some point, it’s only natural and people move on.
But what do you need to do when an employee leaves your business?
When an employee resigns along with completing an exit Interview, it is advisable to write to the employee, using the Leaving Employee Acknowledgement Letter, confirming that you have received their resignation, and advising them of areas such as:
- When their last day of employment is
- Any contractual obligations they must adhere to post employment
- What the situation is in regard to any accrued but untaken holiday
